Albert Lu's Schedule
With the invention of paper around 75 AD, China’s Cai Lun kicked off a monumental technological leap. The new technology facilitated the storage and sharing of knowledge on a scale never seen. Indeed, it was the Internet of its time. But, in doing so, the inventor unwittingly unleashed the era of paper money, beginning in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and its disastrous inflation. The struggle continued until Ming rulers, beginning in 1368, restored monetary order with the implementation of a hard-money system based on, mostly imported, silver. Today the war on inflation continues, this time with America and the dollar at the center and an emerging economic peer—the BRICS group of nations led by China – on its heels. How will lessons from the past shape the future? A return to hard money is inevitable. In this presentation, Albert Lu, producer of Rule Classroom, uncovers simple steps you can take to avoid common errors and assemble a winning gold portfolio.
